Husteon (Biodegradable Medical Device) Husteon is manufactured in GMP clean room facility using a proprietary Screw extrusion 3D printer and 100% biodegradable polymer PCL (FDA approved). The Screw extrusion method of MediFab prevents air entrainment, a drawback of pneumatic extrusion, and also ensures stable extrusion, ensuring high strength and consistent quality across the entire product surface. Furthermore, Husteon biodegrades into water and carbon dioxide after insertion so removal surgery is not necessary. It is available in various sizes and thicknesses, allowing for selective use in specific defect areas.
